Il Hwang
Film director, writer, cinematographer IL Hwang is a European trained film director who was educated in Prague, Czech Republic at the film school FAMU(Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague). After he studied Cinematography and film directing at FAMU, He started to build up his career as a cinematographer in Europe and Korea. After 9years experience as a DP, IL focused on writing a manuscripts for last couple of years, he wrote 5 screen plays such as Heaven, The Good Family part 1 and part 2, Yellow Feaver, DVD and Kansai Airport. And now IL Hwang is setting up his first feature film project "Heaven" at Tokuma promotion after 3 years of preparation. Heaven is a three countries co-production project together with Korea(GF CNS) Japan(Tokuma) and Denmark(Zentropa) First time Car speed Action film in Asian film history and one of the most expensive production ever in Korean film history.
